Joined by the rich common history and cultural traditions, the border regions of Zarasai (Lithuania), Daugavpils (Latvia) and Braslav (Belarus) are facing the difficulty of successful integration into the EU cultural-economic space due to their peripheral location and high level of youth migration. Giving a new quality to the traditionally developed cultural relations will contribute to enhancing cultural attraction of the border regions and facilitating the intercultural dialogue. The overall objective of the project is enhancement of socio-cultural networking between border regions of Zarasai, Daugavpils and Braslav through development of human resources abilities in the culture sector, consolidation of creative youth and promotion of traditional culture values in the society. Expected Results: The project intends to encourage development of cooperation, creativeness and artistic self-expression among young people of the cross-border regions by organisation of 4 artistic camps with involvement of qualified staff (choreographers, ethnographers etc.). 12 concerts and performances staged during artistic camps in all project countries will contribute to promotion of culture traditions in the society. Experience sharing seminars and work group meetings of parners culture professionals will strengthen human resources capacity in the culture sector and start new long-term culture cooperation relations on the level of the regions and small communities.
