The goal of the project is to contribute to the management efficiency of the cross-border PNT and to improve the recognition of PNT “Augšdaugava-Braslav Lakes” by fostering cross-border cooperation and implementing jointly coordinated actions. Expected Results: As a result of the project, the following will be achieved: - a common harmonised nature management concept of cross-border PNT will be created;- public awareness about cross-border PNT “Augšdaugava-Braslav Lakes” will be increased;- a common public administrative structure (renovated and equipped information centers in Latvia and Belarus) will be established for further management and information exchange of cross-border PNT “Augšdaugava-Braslav Lakes”;- cross-border PNT council to foster cooperation in nature protection between Latvia and Belarus will be established;- 2 nature management plans and harmonised PNT management plans for “Augšdaugava-Braslav Lakes” will be elaborated;- natural values of the territory will be promoted with the help of various marketing materials including operating sub-domain and virtual tour.
