The project "outdoor science" improved the Anton-Fugger-Realschule´s quality of teaching science and languages. The five mobilities helped the school a lot. The principal (subjects: economics and social studies) and three teachers with different subjects (Maths - Biology; Arts - IT; English - History) travelled to Grange-over-Sands, England, to take part in a conference helt at the Field Studies Centre "Castle Head" on the topic "The Future of Outdoor Learning in a Changing World". In a second mobility, the principal visited Aarhus, Denmark, to do a course on the topic of developing management competences in intercultural exchange. In both mobilities, new competences were being learned and are now used at school. For the results of using these new competences, the Anton-Fugger-Realschule was awarded by the Bavarian government and articles were published in newspapers and on the internet. The school now has got a MINT coordinator and is an official MINT 21 school. These progresses are a result from the further development of the principal`s and the teachers´increasing management competences. Furthermore, environmental education is now a fix part in the school`s profile.
