At our modern secondary school we teach students which are quite often weak lerners. Especially in English as a second language they are unmotiveted and therefore teachers need a big variety of teaching methods to activate their interest. They have to get to know a lot of different methods and also have to speak English fluently to communicate with them during the lessons. Experiences in a foreign country made by the teachers and handed on to the students make lesson interesting. In the frame of two teacher's courses the participants want to get familiar with new teaching methods and also improve their English. They also have the chance to meet colleagues from different countries, to talk to them and to share new ideas. For our institution the European idea is very important. because in our experience students involved in project work and school meetings abroad develop selfconvidence. Under the coordination of the interested participants we are planning to take part in a new strategic partnership. To improve the teachers' language skills will be quite useful. They will share their experiences and new teaching ideas with their colleagues at school and in the reagion in coures they organize. We hope to motivate further colleagues to take part in mobilities or to get involved in project work.
