PROJECT
FINISHED
We will organise a 10 days International Youth Exchange in a participation of 32 mostly underprivileged young people from Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Czeh Republic. The aim of the project is to share experience about European culture and about the culture of the participating countries by the youth participants. Beside of that our participants gain knowledge about ethics, the educational system, music, traditions and the traditional dances of the partner groups.
Our project aims to examine the problems of young people from these 4 countries to find common points and in this way find solutions together and learn from each other. We will going to use different methods like: team activities, workshops, plenary meetings and discussions about the culture of the nations from the participating countries and other European nations. Beside of that the part of the programme are activities which has the aim to get acquainted with Europe like: preparation of maps, quiz, presentation of historical events, sport games, workshops and outdoor activities. At the meeting we will have a open day where the participant can discuss with the local inhabitants: The Open Day of European Cool-tour. The main topic of the exchange is the discovery of cultures. During the project we do our best to build a bridge between the European youth and promote volunteerism and social citizenship.
The participants get a deeper insight into intercultural and non-formal knowledge. Furthermore, they explore the values and influences of intercultural and non-formal learning, share their experience related to the promotion of intercultural learning and volunteerism and develop new experience. By working together, the participants will learn the cultural differences in Europe better.
Bringing all these experiences in one place, sharing them, discussing ways of improving these techniques. This will have an impact not only on the 32 participants, not only the represented partner NGO's, but in wider view the represented communities, the represented countries and the whole Europe.
