The ERGON project aims at creating a skills framework specifically for training practitioners with a focus upon the learning enterprise and upon strategies such as "learning by doing" and "learning through interaction". The project will develop an electronic platform and a series of electronic support tools in addition to a 'knowledge management strategy' for the identification of the training and information needs of learning enterprises. Additional activities will include the development of new professional profiles relating to information and knowledge management and support to the creation of local networks. End project results will comprise a web-based platform available in five languages (DK, ES, NL, PT & SI) containing all developed training materials, a support manual for use of the platform, a series of ODL training modules, a new professional profile, namely "Knowledge Worker" and a newly defined training methodology based upon the blended learning concept. Dissemination of the project results will include the establishment of an advisory group able to provide feedback on the end products results, development of a dedicated project website, the release of articles to relevant press and the hosting of a series of seminars and workshops.
