Due to the globalization of markets professional training needs an increasingly international focus. Trainees have to face this development.
The importance of intercultural competence and of knowledge about international business at work has increased in recent years. These competencies are counted as one of the key skills of the 21st century. Occupational mobility and flexibility today means to include the whole European job market into ones personal plan for the future.
Future employees will be more and more challenged to acquire knowledge of the European job market, the working conditions and job requirements there.
The project offers trainees the chance to experience the demands made on the vocational training in Italy first-hand. Internships can sensitize the trainees to issues of the transnational mobility and flexibility and make them aware of the European job market as one option in their working life.
We provide intercultural encounters for 40 participants by organizing internships in Italy .
The application of initial training students in the form of a letter of motivation and a European CV in German language can be send by email without any bureaucratic hurdles.
The internships are completely organized from the preparation to the delivery of the Euro passports by the end of the stay and by that cause no stress for all involved.
After the internship the participants have gained intercultural competence. They are open-minded, have less prejudices and are more familiar with the special circumstances of everyday professional practice. In their actions, the participants are more independent and more sociable with people of foreign origin. From their experiences they will turn against xenophobia and prejudices in their social environment.
