ERAWEB II - Erasmus Mundus Western Balkans

ERASMUS MUNDUS – WESTERN BALKANS 2 (ERAWEB2) is an international academic mobility project involving six EU universities and seven Western Balkan universities. Students and members of the faculty will benefit from the opportunity to study, teach and research abroad, while the participating universities will raise teaching capacities, build research expertise and gain international visibility. It is a continuation of the current successful ERAWEB project.The partnership has a broad geographical coverage within the EU countries (The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Austria) and all of the eligible countries in the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244) , Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia). Besides, a wide range of organisations have joined ERAWEB2 as associated partners, such as Ministries of Health and Public Institutes of Health in WB countries, student associations and European institutes, will help to ensure a successful project with outreaching communication, promotion of the project, smooth mobility and prospects for a sustainable future. The emphasis of ERAWEB2 is on research in medicine and health sciences. Research within ERAWEB2 is aimed at population health and the development of possible interventions towards health improvement. The programme stimulates the development of the Western Balkan countries by raising academic skills of students, researchers and teachers.
