Erasmus + un développement culturel et une expérience professionnelle unique pour nos élèves
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our project “Erasmus + a cultural development and a unique professional experience” is made in an economical context which is open to Europe in a touristic geographical area. This project started in September 2013 and was achieved with the mobility at the beginning of 2016. This Erasmus + project which is linked to it, has spread on the last 12 months. The main topics of the project are: the opening to Europe, the opportunity for our students coming from social underclasses to obtain foreign workplacements. They have been also able to develop professional and linguistic skills. Furthermore, they have learnt essential behaviour skills for their working and personal life. Our 17 students are between 17 and 19 years old. They take, for 9 of them, a business class and for the other 8, a welcoming class. They are students with social difficulties, but they have a scholarship and professional potential. The mobility was their first travel abroad by themselves. Several educational, professional or cultural activities were realized. The mobility results are gratifying and answer to the goals of the project: brilliant workplacement marks, professional and personal development and European citizenship opening. At least, some of our students are thinking about higher studies which need good linguistic skills. Their professional integration will be easier thanks to their knowledges about the foreign professional world. To conclude, this project is a success which motivates the steering group and the headmaster group to carry on these grateful experiences. Our companies’ network is growing up and it’s becoming stronger and stronger in Ireland as in Spain: some of them have asked us for hiring more trainees in 2017. Thus, Erasmus + has a promising future in Paul Langevin high school.
