ADHD, ASC & LD Belgium will partner In Dialogue Netherlands, Gouda and Equisto Centrale BV, Rotterdam in an Adult Education Staff Mobility project through the Erasmus+ programme KAI, which begins on June 1, 2016 and ends on June 30, 2017. The aim of this project is to educate more people about ADHD, ASC, Dyslexia and Dyscalculia, to give trainers the opportunity to gain more advanced coaching and counseling methods, to invigorate the organization itself by providing leadership and management courses and advanced education about the brain so that the participants can begin raising awareness among employers about the conditions. 8 Participants will attend five 5-day courses on Clear Leadership, Strength-Based Coaching, Inspiring training and facilitation, European brain employers and From Burden to Talent.The desired outcome is to raise the quality of trainings offered to adults with ADHD/Dyslexia/ASC/Dyscalculia, to raise the quality of counselling offered to adults with ADHD/ASC/Dyslexia/Dyscalculia by offering the counsellors new knowledge and innovative coaching tools, to build a European community of practice where good practice can be shared and developed together and to build and strengthen knowledge of European partners for future international activities. The overarching aim, however, is to raise the self-esteem and prospects of adults with ADHD/Dyslexia/ASC/Dyscalculia in the labour market so that employers understand the unique strengths of this population and are encouraged to employ them and make the necessary accommodations to enable them to reach their full potential.
