The project aims to equip the fire department of Greece with fire vehicles. Expected Results: The project involves ten (10) subprojects which include: - Nine 9 contacts for the procurement of fire vehicles (tankers, special, rescue) able to undertake multiple roles in dealing with natural and technological disasters in the area of responsibility of the Fire Department of Greece. For all cases of action involved, the physical object, relates only to eligible areas in Greece under the CIP INTERREG IIIA Greece Cyprus programme. It forms part of the total physical object which has been implemented under the relevant contact for the procurement of vehicles covering the entire Greek territory. - Organise events for the exchange of know-how between Fire Services located in eligible areas of Greece and Cyprus.
