The project "Equilibrium 2015 'is an experiential-educational youth exchange for young people from the Czech Republic and Slovakia active in youth work, who want to gain new inspiration and motivation for their work, deepen their knowledge of the diverse methods in the field of non-formal and experiential education and discuss the topics of European citizenship and values important for the European Union. Thematic content of the exchange is inspired by the idea of promoting balance, equality and inclusion in society, as well as developing personal integrity of individuals and their responsible participation in democratic life in Europe. Young people learn through various non-traditional methods to express their opinions on current conflicts of values and serious dilemmas in European society. They will actively look for solutions leading to greater equality, tolerance and non-discrimination among people and develop in themselves practical communication skills – all that in an open and friendly international setting (34 young people from the Czech Republic and Slovakia). The whole exchange is organized by means of informal and experiential learning, with the goal to enable the participants to apply these methods in their future youth projects.
