The project “Equality in practice and work” responds to the needs of our graduates to develop their professional skills in accordance to the demands of European context, providing their chances on the labor market to be equal to graduates of other educational institutions with similar profile. This is especially important as our school is located in a rural area, such non-formal learning student experiences are more limited than in urban areas, especially in big cities.The proposed objectives are: to develop the professional skills of students in the target group; to get a feedback in terms of quality of education in our school, in perspective of European market requirements; to improve the skills of the management team and the teaching staff in organization, by conducting and evaluating learning activities, both at professional level and at communication/relational level; increasing pupils motivation for choosing tourism profile; creating better prerequisites for professional insertion at the regional, national and at the European labor market.1. Mihail Kogalniceanu High School in Snagov, Romania, a state institution, with levels of primary, secondary and gimazial classes, which include technology profile classes with services specialization (tourism technician) - will involve in the project a team of 5 people, four teachers and an accountant, and the target group of pupils will include 34 students from the technological, tourism services classes, in grades 10-12.2. ANAPTYXIAKO KENTRO THESSALIAS in Trikala, Greece, is a non-profit center/provider for continuing professional education and training (VET) and a development center, and will be a host organization.3. IBD Partnership in Portsmouth, UK, plan and manage training for students, entrepreneurs and employees and the disabled and disadvantaged, will be a second host institution.4. Social Entrepreneurship and Innovative European Studies Institute in Klaipeda, Lithuania, is a consulting and training institution dedicated to innovative teaching methods, creating strategies, and developing sustainable entrepreneurship, will be the third host institution.Description of activities: I. Prior project activities: arranging the schedule of activities and responsibilities of participants, signing, organizing selection of students, preparing information materials, organization of mobility, training the participants. II. October 2016 - first mobility activity in Greece. Traineeship of mobility will be structured in four sub-activities: identifying skills, knowledge and competencies existing among the participants; preparation and training the students to participate in practical work in relevant companies profile; effective participation in different work positions; assessment of skills acquired during practice. During the mobility activity there will be permanent monitoring and support activities. III. Preparation activities for the second stage of mobility and activities to disseminate the results achieved in the first mobility stage. IV. March 2017 will be the second stage of mobility in the UK. Internships will have the same structure as those of Greece; yet improvements that can be accepted on the basis of previous experience. V. Preparation activities for the third stage of mobility and activities to disseminate the results obtained in the first two mobility stages. VI. July 2017 will be held the third mobility activity in Lithuania with the same structure as those conducted in previous mobilities stages. VII. Dissemination of mobility and integration of results in the current work and the impact assessment.The methodology of using gained experience: - Improving the procedure for conducting internships through aligning them with European standards and include exchange of best practices; - Increase the number of practice partnerships at national and European level by using communication skills and collaboration with diverse cultures; - Using the experience in writing and implementing projects under the Erasmus Programme+ in increasing the number of quality projects; - The students ability to use mobility certificates in educational portfolios, employment resumes and partnership agreements in companies which runs professional practice; efficient professional assessment criteria in students; applying these criteria in evaluating the quality of school education.Impact of the project “Equality in practice and work”: Equal opportunities of employment for graduates of travel classes on the European labor market. The quality of services provided by students in practice will increase. For the school it will increase the chance of new partnerships and the confidence in developing parterneships at European level. The prestige of the school as competence trainer in the professional field also will increase.
