Aim: • To revise and transfer knowledge acquired on EQF based LC (Landscape Construction) Curriculum template to all interested Nordic and European countries.• To develop further environmental sustainable solutions in LC VET targeted towards current challenges in climate change. • To develop a short textbook aimed for LC VET. Recent climate changes pose serious challenges to landscape design and landscape construction throughout Europe, and rest of the world, for that matter. Any efforts to reduce CO2 emission and increase CO2 binding in man-made landscape are extremely important. Theoretical calculations are abundant but practical solutions, how to implement environmental sound measures, are scarce. LC professionals in Europe do have a range of solutions but need to develop their knowledge bank through increased cooperation. A template for step-by-step curriculum in LC will be produced on the basis of the European Qualification Framework (EQF). The curriculum will be based on Learning Outcomes, i.e. what should the student know and be able to do after completed study. This template, revised, will establish a framework of required skills throughout the Nordic countries, enabling easier transfer of knowledge through exchange programs. The modular approach is very suitable to Valorization of Work procedures and gradual VET acquisition for general workers in the industry.
