Job shadowing for five days by school staff of "Vocational education and training for students with visual impairment and multiple disabilities" on the daily center "Mali Dom" (Zagreb, Croatia). The aim of the project is our staff to obtain new teaching skills, innovative methods of intervention for students with visual impairment and multiple disabilities through the observation and exchange of professional views. Furthermore, this interaction and cooperation will contribute to the enhancement of language skills and of the European dimension.The project will be consisted of 5 participant. All the participants are specialized in the scientific field of special education. The main activity that will take place is job shadowing by observating the activities in "Mali Dom" and specifically: teaching, therapies, chidren mobility, teaching of independent living, snoezelen room, sensory integration therapy, alternative and augmentative communication, accessibility. There will be workgroups for the preparation regarding danger prevention, our interesting areas & fields, visual material about school life. Our organization will incorporate skills and experience gained via enrichment of our way of working and teaching. Also, will spread the new knowledge to the other stuff members who did not participate. Finally participants will obtain cooperation culture and experience of taking part in European programs.
