The project intends to create, through studies and information gathering, an epidemiological map along with its associated data, and to implement actions to promote awareness on transmittable diseases to cross-border population. The purpose of the project is to have an epidemiological picture of the neighbouringcounrties, and propose measures to protect public health.The main scope of creating the health-epidemiological map is that through the collection of interregional data and through their study, the problems that affect the health of the population of each region will be identified and solutions will be proposed. Expected Results: In this proposal, the basic resulting objective is that, by implementing the epidemiological map and the promotional activities to inform citizens & bodies, it is achieved the gradually extension of the list related to diseases, where each time after the expiration of technical meetings or workshops-open days it will be reached conclusions which will multiply the knowledge and the applicants expertise. In the initial implementation phase of the proposed research and data collection the following diseases will gradually expand and vital data will occur. The initial diseases selected are: hepatitis, tuberculosis, aids, disease related to animals. Through this centrifugal action conclusions will be moving to the sites where the health system & doctors will be useful to better address the epidemic and potential patients. This Cross-bordered network project will be connected to the future with other international networks involved in the study of epidemiological diseases.
