Επαγγελματική κατάρτιση εκπαιδευτών στην η-μάθηση(E-learning): εκπαίδευση στην "εικονική" τάξη

Living in a new era and dealing with the new Regulation of Functioning of Public Institutes of Vocational Training (PIVT), the PIVT of Agrinio is trying to promote its European modernization. The PIVT of Agrinio aims at contributing to the achievement of goals such as promoting innovation and creativity in the provided training through the strengthening of international openness and instructors and trainees mobility. Therefore, the proposed project is to train 15 instructors of PIVT in new and modern teaching environments with the use of new technologies. The weekly training program, which is to be implemented by the host organization and concerns e-learning, has as its main objective the acquirement of knowledge and skills on issues related to:
1. forms of e-learning (e-learning forms, potentionals, prospects and advantages of e-learning)
2. methodological and teaching principles of modern e-learning (characteristics of virtual communication, activation and involvement of participants in the virtual classroom)
3. preparation and designing learning environments in accordance with the requirements of e-learning.
Through this project, the participating teachers will have the opportunity to practice their skills in the use of English. Moreover, it will be an incentive for learning more foreign languages since language learning has become the passport of internationalized labor market. Actually, the project is the beginning of a high quality growth of our organization in a European vocational training environment where international cooperation is necessary for the different national education systems to achieve their goals.
Finally, this experience will be useful to the staff for the improvement of teaching methods, training environments, getting more instructors of our organization involved in European activities and redefining the pedagogical and organizational goals for future mobility programs.
The program will take place in Dresden, Germany and the flow will be in the first half of 2016 and will run for one week, time considered necessary and sufficient for meeting the participants' educational needs and at the same time for the strengthening of intercultural features of the plan.
