The Evaluation of Teaching Project (ETP) - Self Assessment of School Uni,t represents an innovative project to support changing structures, processes, relationships and cultures within the school unit. It is based on recognition of the relative autonomy of schools and enhancing the degree of freedom of teachers to implement their work. The general aim of the project is the training of teachers in the school self-evaluation unit in order to improve the quality of their educational task. They will gain understanding of developed educational systems overseas, where the school unit emerges as the principal means of programming and evaluating its educational work. They will gain experience from executives and educators in the field of evaluation in educationally and technologically advanced countries. They will develop skills necessary for planning actions, aiming to improve the quality of educational work at school. They will upgrade their teaching and training practices, to promote innovation in the educational process. The project will be attended by a total of 18 professors / teachers (two groups of nine teachers each), specializing in technical subjects at our school unit.
