EODPE : EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES - MENTORING AND TRAINING FOR DISABLED PEOPLE AND EMPLOYERS
Uncovering the potential of the disabled : Many disabled people find they are discriminated against when seeking employment. This project introduces a mentoring programme, which gives these job seekers some practical experience and an opportunity to prove themselves. The result is an increase in recruitment of disabled people and a change in employers' attitudes towards them. This project started in 2001 and lasted 24 months.
