Project context : European Voluntary framed in an environmental project for 4 young people with intellectual disabilities and 2 youth with educational difficulty . Objectives: To give young people the opportunity to work on a real project , the results directly affect the preservation and care of the environment and their education and environmental awareness. Within the group, including young people with fewer opportunities in EVS projects of short duration, with practical activities adapted to their capacities .. Participating Countries . Spain and Italy. Activities . Collaborate with Legambiente work in environmental education and awareness . Cleaning and conservation of the coastal area , the beach , gardens and orchards, in collaboration with the Local Community. Networking with government institutions and related organizations in the area and region . Working methods . Active and participative methodology collaborating through observational learning and acquisition of daily living skills and increased autonomy. Undertaken . From 1 to 15 July for youth with disabilities . From 15 July to 15 September for 2 young with educational difficulty . Venue . Itaia . Region of Campania, in natural areas near the towns of Eboli, Batipagila and Paestum. Duration . 4 months ( from June to October in the case of volunteers with no fewer opportunities ) and 2 weeks in July ( for young people with fewer opportunities). Results and expected impact .
