The level of youth unemployment remains at high rates in several European countries. In the partner countries the rates for youth unemplyment are: Romania the rate is at 20.90%, in Bulgaria - 20.80%, in Lithuania - 14.50%, Spain - 45.30%, Italy - 39.10%, Estonia - 15.60%, Latvia - 18.20% (source: ycharts.com). In this context promotion of younth entrepreneurship has become a priority on the EU policy agenda. Moreover, the general perception at European level is that entrepreneurship education is not a tool to solve the youth unemployment crisis, but to create opportunities for young people to transform their ideas in successful business, to support job creation and development of human capital. In this context the partner organizations get unite in order to address 2 directions: first to develop the professional skills and competencies of 21 youth workers on the topic of youth entrepreneurship education through the organization of a training course and on second to develop entrepreneurial skills of 35 young people through multicultural hands-on experiences in planning and running a business. The main objectives of the project EntrepreneurYouth are:- to train 21 youth workers from the partner countries about entrepreneurship and work with different categories of young people- to up-skill 21 youth workers from the partner countries to be able to offer support for youth businesses ( how to start, maintain and develop a business)- to encourage 35 young people to take initiative and get involved in the development of their community through entrepreneurship activities.- to create concrete business start-up plans in a multicultural environment EntrepreneurYouth will be developed between 1 September 2016 - 31 July 2017 and propose two type of activities: mobility of youth workers and youth exchange. Both activities are promoting active involvement of the participants, stimulating their initiatives. The learning environment offers flexibility of the learning process in order to meet the specific needs of the target groups. Also the activities are focussion on the exchange of practices and experiences and learning by doing. The activities are developed in a non-formal context – games, simulations, debates, public coffee, energizers, group discussions, mapping exercises ( branstormings, storyboards, etc), creative activities, and many more.The final impact of the project on the youth workers will concern their personal and professional growth, their consciousness on youth entrepreneurship education both at local and EU level. Youth workers will increase their capacity to implement youth entrepreneurship education in their work and will get innovative approaches to youth entrepreneurship, will becoming aware about the entire process of supporting entrepreneurship education, starting from opportunity creation, networking and partnerships, to mentoring and resources. The youngsters participating in the youth exchange will develop those qualities and personal skills which forms the basis of the spirit and entrepreneurial behavior, will acquire specific skills and business knowledge on how to successfully start and run a business, will gain confidence in their own potential, they will be more confident in their abilities.
