Fray Luis de Granada High School is a teaching institution that offers secondary compulsory education, A levels, and a Professional Training Degree. Its methodology is based on the technology of the information and communication and on the plurilinguism, provided with all the official certifications. This High School is placed in the city centre of Granada, the staff is stable and its pupils have a high level of motivation and get to an outstanding rate of promotion comparing to that of the rest of the county. We bet high for the educational excellence based on two strategic lines: educational innovation and internationalization. All this implies searching for improvement and strategies designs to get it year after year. An example of this educational innovation we are developing, is an experimental project in education called `living and feeling the Alhambra´. The spine bone of this is to take advantage of the relevant importance of the Alhambra and, development of its educational potential. In this way the Alhambra becomes the main book for the students to study the different subjects. This project demands from the teachers (90% of the whole staff) to improve their educational tools. Our main objective is not only the use of the innovating methodology but also to introduce them in our whole Educational Project, that is mainly the grounds of this new Project. At the same time we pursue that it is our main strategic line in time. The planned activities are first, forming courses for the teachers to improve the use of the innovated methodologies both for on-site teaching and virtual teaching. There are three courses with these titles: ‘interactive teaching´, The art of the English language´, and `Building research based MOODLE materials in Maths, Science and CLIC´. The participant teachers must have a level of English enough to take advantage of these courses. Our staff from the different departments are included in the work and also the board of the high school. All this a fast and global impact in all its organization.
