The aim of the project is to provide vocational trainings at different workplaces abroad for the car mechanic, bricklayer, painter and welder students of Király Endre Technical and Vocational School. We want to get our students to learn and acquire more about the new techniques and materials in the field of car technology, welding and construction/building industry. Furthermore we would like to enlarge their English vocabulary and improve their communication skills both in the field of car technology, welding and building industry, and of course their everyday English too. Moreover we hope that their professional and cultural knowledge and experience will be extended too. Besides their jobs, they can get a lot about the history, religion and the everyday life of the host countries.
Expected results / demands:
All the above mentioned knowledge and skills of the students both in the professional and cultural field will be expanded. Competencies will strengthen a lot, highlited the social and citizenship, learning, entrepreneurial and innovative competences.
We hope that students will have more confidence and their horizon and personality will be broaden. They will accept and appreciate more the people from other countries, religion and nationalities.
We would like to develop their social position to contribute to become a better member of European Community.
The students are between 16 -21 years old
The number of participants : 18 students
The trainings are planned to run from October till December 2015.
Group of car mechanics:
The place of training is in Valletta in Malta. The host institution is: Easy Job Bridge and Easy School of Languages. The host companies: Mizzi auto, John's garage, Melli Motors
Students will do their trainings at the workshops of the host institution partnership companies. They will work one by one together with the employees of the host companies.
The group of bricklayers, painters and welders will be trained in Nevsehir in Turkey.
A member of the staff is going to participate on " European Qualification Framework and ECVET" course in Greece. The aim is to gain experiences in the field of European Credit Transfer and Qualification System, which will be applied in our new Erasmus+ projects. An other member of the staff is going to participate "Structured Study Visit to Schools" job-shadowing programme in Ireland.
