The project ENJOY THE CHALLENGE is a new challenge for KERIC, the partners and the volunteers in terms of trying out new approaches, creating new partnerships and trying out new opportunities. The main aim of the project is the exchange of cultures between European countries, Latin America and Africa, raising European awareness and fighting against prejudice against foreigners. The project will contribute to personal and professional development of the volunteers with the aim to find a job in the future as well as help the people from local communities to become more open and tolerant towards foreigners, people with disabilities or people anyhow different from them. The activities of the volunteers vary depending on the host organisation. Genearally, the volunteers will support the local communinty,work with children and youth - organise workshops, awareness activities, cultural and sport clubs, information and presentation activities about EVS. The methods of work follow the principles of non-formal education. There are the following actions under this project: 3 volunteers sent by KERIC (Slovakia) will be hosted by Ideal Youth Group (Nepal) for 12 months. 3 volunteers sent by KERIC (Slovakia) will be hosted by Comunidade rural Casa do Caminho (Brazil) for 12 months. 2 volunteers sent by KERIC (Slovakia) will be hosted by Eurocircle (France) for 1 month.1 volunteer sent by Eurocircle (France) will be hosted by KERIC (Slovakia) for 12 months. 1 volunteer sent by KERIC (Slovakia) will be hosted by Associacao Juveni de Peniche (Portugal) for 12 months.1 volunteer sent by KERIC (Slovakia) will be hosted by Os Quatro Cantos do Cisne (Portugal) for 4 months. 1 volunteer sent by KERIC (Slovakia) will be hosted by ACI (Costa Rica) for 12 months (and vice versa).1 volunteer sent by KERIC (Slovakia) will be hosted by KWOG (Kenya) for 12 months (and vice versa).All identified volunteers in the project are young people with fewer opportunities.
