* Content of Project Our Project is prepared to make teachers of individuals with mental disabilities more effective about these subjects; - Communicate with individuals with mental disabilities, - Information transfer to individuals with mental disabilities and improve their speech and language skills, - How to fit individuals with mental disabilitiesin to society. - How is the improvement of self care in individuals with mental disabilities - Give pedagogically extensive knowledge to teachers of mentally handicapped students. - Examining the new methods and techniques that is used in mentaly handicapped students education and transfer these method and techniques to our education system. By achieving these aims it is possible to enhance the quality of education mentally handicapped students. *Aim of Project; 1. Viable of mentally handicapped individuals who need special education, make mentally handicapped individual benficial to themselves, thier familly and society, communicate to community and adaptation of these individuals and society each other. 2. To improve the pedagogic knowledge and experience of mentally handicapped individuals teachers to the level of European colleague. 3. To improvement of speech and language skills of mentally handicapped individuals, fitting the handicapped individuals to society and iprovent of handicapped persons self care skills. 4. To improve the foreing language skills of the participants. *Participant Numbers and Profile: Participants are initially the teacher who has lack of knowledge and experience on communicating mentally handicapped individuals, improving mentally handicapped individuals speech and language skills and self care skills, teaching knowledge to mentally handicapped individuals and prepare them to society. Participants are consist of Special Education teachers and culture teachers 15 (Fifteen) teacher and 1 (One) companion. *Definition of Project Activities; In 14 days mobility, participants going to attend travel/observation, institution visit, seminars about mentally handicapped individuals education, presentatiın and various activities at Budapesti Barczi Gusztáv Ovoda, Altalanos Iskola es Keszsegfejleszto Specialis Szakiskola which is located in Budapest City in Hungary * Methods Used in Project: 1. Preparing the Project 2. Sign a donation agrement with National Agency 3. Getting ready the participants 4. Mobility 5. Monitoring and evaluating the Project 6. Popularising the Project outputs 7. Preparing the result report to National Agency. *Projects Foreseen Results and Impacts; The teachers who teaches mentally handicapped individuals will learn which methods and techniques are used in mentally handcapped individuals education in European Union countries. And how these methods and techniques effect to improve speech and language skills, social harmony, and self care skills of mentally handicapped individuals. Teachers will have chance to compare these methods and techniques with our country and transfer good activities to our education system.
