ENACT - ENergy Auditors Competences, Training and profiles, is a European project proposal addressing the need to define and harmonise the professional figure of the energy auditor which represents an extremely important professional figure in modern societies especially considering the Europe2020 strategy especially for reaching target 3: Climate change and energy sustainability of reduction of greenhouse gas emissions 20%, 2increase of 0% of energy from renewables, 20% increase in energy efficiency.
The increase in energy efficiency without a proper and skilled figure able to advise consumers on what measures to take up to become energy efficient is a target which cannot be reached.
ENACT aims at defining the training competences, profile, learning resources to enable Europe to properly train such a professional figure in an harmonised and structured manner in all the countries.
ENACT is a 24 month project which will study the actual situation in Europe and the training need and practices of the energy auditor to define the profile, develop the training material, implement several pilots to test the defined training and finally deliver the outputs to implement proper training at national and European level.
ENACT sees the collaboration of 5 partners coming from 4 different countries which are most involved in similar national initiative, European concertation actions and other projects. Under the coordination of AISFOR, RENAEL (It), ADENE (Pt) Kape (Pl), INCOMA (ES) and IACP (Es) will work together to implement the ambitious ENACT work plan.
