Empowered Youth in Diverse World

The project’s mission is to promote European youth initiatives and non-formal education activities among young people from Program and Partners countries: Poland, Georgia, Bosnia&Herzegovina, so as to shape together youth active citizenship in differnet countries of diverse Europe. The project involves groups of Polish volunteers from Active Women Association from Sosnowiec, going to perform educational youth mobilities within the frames of European Voluntary Service in 3 Hosting Organizations: - in Georgia / Student Youth Council in Ozurgati, International Scout Centre Rustavi/ - in Bosnia and Herzegovina / Youth Center Carpe Diem from Doboj/ The project will last 24 months - starting from 1st of May 2015. Voluntary activities will be performed in two time-flows: first groups of volunteers will perform their tasks starting from 10th of June 2015 / 11 months/, second groups of volunteers will go abroad on 10 April 2016 / 11 months/. This type of time-flow will ensure good sustainability of project’s results and planned activities in Hosting Organizations. The project will extend local youth opportunities to realize themselves in social, physical and intellectual fields, actively participate in the youth actitities, local project development and implementation. The main activities will be implemented in conjunction with two objectives: development of civil society and international development cooperation. Project will give the volunteers from Poland as well as local Georgian and Bosnian youth a possibility to exchange their experience, their views on numerous youth issues, thus breaking down any intercultural stereotypes, eliminating prejudices, experiencing similarities and differences between different European countries.
