The presented project “Embrace diversity” has been created by organisation from Poland (sending country): Stowarzyszenie "Jeden Świat" (One World Association) and India (host country): Field Services and inter-cultural Learning (FSL india). It will raise the general awareness about the value of volunteering and the importance of Millennium Development Goals. The project consists of five individual EVS activities, each of them lasting 9 months with the participation of 5 volunteers from Poland. Two volunteers will be with fewer opportunities. Each of the activity will be realised in the hosting organisations' projects dedicated to help the local community. The volunteers will work for the most vulnerable groups in Bangalore, India– they will organise workshops and free-time activities for youth and children, support their educational process and get involved in other actions run by host organisation. Upon return the volunteers will be encouraged to get involved in other development projects and share their experience to spread the idea of international volunteering and Millennium Development Goals.
