Elaboration of Qualification Framework for Land Management Studies at Russian Universities

ELFRUS project purpose is elaboration of sectoral Qualifications Framework for Land Management Studies at Russian Universities. Project will contribute towards its wider objective “Enhancement of quality and relevance of higher education in Russian Federation and increasing convergence with EU developments through elaboration of qualifications framework”. There are three specific project objectives:1. Analyses of existing standards and methodologies of Qualifications Framework development in Land Management,2. Elaboration of sectoral Qualifications Framework for Land Management studies at Russian universities,3. Training courses on developing and implementing new study programs compatible with Qualifications Framework in Land Management.Realization of project objectives including elaboration of sectoral Qualifications Framework for Land Management will contribute towards development of the Russian Federation National Qualification System and towards implementation of Bologna process. Additionally, project outcomes and outputs will lead to partner universities capacity building by creation of training centers devoted to development and implementation of study programs compatible with QF in the area of Land Management and to development and implementation of training courses on related subjects. These trainings will raise the awareness of importance of higher education system reforms and Bologna Process, they will also build up skills necessary for sustainability of project results and they will pay contribution to a nation-wide staff development scheme for Russian universities.ELFRUS project includes the following principal outcomes and outputs:- Reports on QF development in EU partner countries and in Russian Federation,- Elaborated QF in Land Management in Russian Federation,- Created training centers at partner universities,- Partner universities staff retrained,- Developed information database.
