Doing so will not only greatly enhance the European identity , but can also help develop transnational educational activities and partnerships with other schools . These activities will include the exchange and mobility of teachers across Europe . It will also enable them to broaden their knowledge both in the cognitive domain of the object they teach as well as in modern teaching approaches and trends in European education. The teaching staff that will participate in the courses should be seen as an agent of change and innovation and should improve the quality of teaching ICT and science . In this context, knowledge , methods , techniques and skills gained by participating in courses / seminars will be incorporated into teaching practice at the school. Also , the abilities , skills and experience that teaching staff of the school will gain from participating in the project / training will be fully recognized as a step for professional development and should be viewed as a strong asset, for example for professional advancement to a higher class . One main anticipated results of the program is to strengthen the European identity of teachers through educational activities and partnerships with other schools . A expected second result is the transmission of the knowledge gained to other teachers and their school community in general. The results will be disseminated in various educational portals, discussion forums and social media, targeted at groups of teachers and other European educational authorities. Our school has taken up the role of selecting teachers from teaching staff so as to encourage their participation in courses offered in the program.
