Vocational school from Kolno is the largest educational institution in the county. Governing body is Kolno county.The main areas for the Technical School in Kolno:1. Introduction of modern methods of teaching through teacher training, better use of current teaching base, training in the course of teaching staff (including informing the teaching staff of educational changes in legislation, providing access to the latest training materials), search for and implementation of various forms of activation of students and constant modernization of the educational base (providing teachers and students with modern means of multimedia, which is aimed at teaching more attractive).2. Update the educational offer based on labor market research for the changing conditions of employment and, based on this information to create new specialty, but maintaining the core principles of the school and its traditions.3. Raising the educational services within vocational education, among others, through participation in European educational projects aimed at by improving and upgrading teaching, financial support, teachers in various forms of professional training and professional internships students.4. Cooperation school - new contacts with schools and other institutions in the EU in order to exchange experiences and to organize internships for students.5. Develop guidance on the labor market by organizing events and workshops on effective job search, skills retraining to labor market needs and understanding the needs of lifelong learning and improve their skills.The project concerns the participation of students from profile economist techniques in the three-week internships. Internships carried out in two rounds, which will be attended by two groups of 15 students each. The period of internship established in cooperation with teaching staff, parents, manager of practical training at school. During this time, students will have enough time to familiarize with the company, to gain specific practical skills and at the same time allow students to fulfill core curriculum required by the school. Each of the two groups of trainees will be accompanied by two guardians of school. The first trip is planned for V 2017 and another in V 2018 in the period of compulsory school placements.The main objectives of the project:- increasing competencies (knowledge, skills and attitudes) student, in order to broaden its opportunities for personal growth and increase the chance of employment in the european labor market,- increasing the foreign language skills of the participants,- increasing the attractiveness and international dimension of training at the School.Also:- improving academic performance;- increase student initiative and entrepreneurship;- increase self-reliance and self-esteem;- increase intercultural awareness;- raise awareness of European projects and the EU;- increasing motivation for further education after a period spent abroad in the framework of mobility,- improving the attractiveness of vocational education and training and mobility in the labor market, including the adjustment of vocational education at the school to the needs of employers,- awareness of the need for further training and development.Departure for internships will also contribute to the fight against youth unemployment, helping them to acquire the key from the point of view of employers for skills: proficient use of foreign languages, facility of establishing contact with people and adapting to new conditions, work experience obtained abroad e.g. experience of working in a multicultural team. On the labor market are being sought people with high qualifications. Employment opportunities for low-skilled workers is less and less. One of the main objectives of the strategy "Europe 2020" is to increase to 40% the proportion of young adults with higher education. The project can contribute to this by helping people improve their skills during internships abroad. An equally important goal is to reduce the proportion of early school leavers, and this project through the trip internships encourages students to deepen their knowledge and continue their education at selected profile.The Erasmus program + has positive impact on the local environment including by building a positive image of the school and its promotion by publishing information about the project activities on the school website. Thanks to the participation in internships abroad will show other establishments on how to use these programs and encourage collaboration. Through these activities will also increase the percentage of people willing to learn from the techniques economist. Participation in the project will affect the integration of pupils, increase their self-confidence and will improve language skills.
