CEIPES, as an ENGO (European Non-Governmental Organisation) working in the field of non formal education and training for youth and adults. The organization recognizes the value of lifelong learning as resource for the personal and professional growth, as well as a way for social redemption.
In the role of intentional agent of change, CEIPES wants guarantee a qualified staff to meet the need of qualification and social inclusion of citizens. How do we want to do it? Enhancing Ceipes’ resources through paths of staff mobility abroad.
Through a SWOT analysis began the process of definition of the strengths and weaknesses of the organization , leading , thus , the definition of areas of development.
Topics: New innovative curricula/educational methods/development of training courses; Recognition, transparency, certification.
Participants are specialized educators in continuing education, project managers and coordinators in charge of planning and managing project of Adult education. They have good adaptability; ability to ensure real a positive impact in CEIPES; Good knowledge of the English language; ability to have access to the international dimension; motivated to improve their knowledges and skills.
The project aims to improve the skills of Ceipes’staff in charge of lifelong learning and non-formal education in order to promote social inclusion processes with innovative methods and recognized tools, at national and international level.
The objectives:
-to Improve the skills and knowledge of staff in the field of adult education (integrating innovative practices in the educational process; improving the quality of pedagogical-educational research as a tool that guides the training practice);
-To strengthen social inclusion strategies through lifelong learnig;
-To improve the European and international dimension of practices.
The project activities have involved 7 members of CEIPES within n.5 mobility flows divided into two job-shadowing activities (2 months) and 3 training course (1 week).
One of the strengths of the project is the international partnership involved, made by institutions and organizations engaged in the promotion of education and lifelong learning:
-Styrian Technology Park. Centro regionale per lo sviluppo tecnologico (STP) – Slovenia.
-Associação para a Educação e Valorização da região de Aveiro (AEVA EPA) – Scuola per la formazione professionale – Portogallo.

The perspective of development is contained in the motto “training yourself for training the other”.
The job-shadowing activities were based on observation of processes, accompanying professional at work in the areas of interest. The training course have been developed long a week, attending seminars presentations, discussions, technical visits for gaining new knowledge and skills.
The project had a positive impact on the development of participants’ professional identity, as well as for increasing self-confidence and motivation at work in terms of daily practices, innovation and development of new project ideas. Staff mobility has improved communication skills in English language and the relational approach with partners.
The staff has also achieved the following results: new knowledge on internationalization instruments practices; increased knowledge on the professional qualifications system; improved problem solving skills at work; Enhanced skills on analysis of contexts; increased sense of awareness about the international dimension in the field of education and training; increased competences in the use of new communication tools (such as Big Blue Button), knowledges of news methods and techniques of teamwork; increased intercultural competences and skills on e-mentoring.
