The name of our project is "I should acguire the 21st century skills in education".The most effective subject of our project's existence is Fatih Project being conducted by Turkish Republic National Education Ministery . Within the context of Fatih Project,there has been a need for tranforming traditional education-teaching into an innovative education-teaching with our school's having been equipped with interactive whiteboards.Delivering tablets to the students and the teachers of our school has made us prepare this project ineavitable.We decided to prepare this project via the datas we gained by searching what knowledge,skills and equipments 21st century teachers should have.We have decided that at first our teachers should have the necessary trainings in order to create the classrooms of future.Under the democratic conditions ,we have reached what personel and professional inservice training courses our teachers need with the results of the conducted questionnaires.The aim of our project is our teachers' gaining the 21st century skills.In order to provide them these skills,we have searched for the courses.We have looked through the contents of the courses to be conducted by the European institutions and we have communicated with the courses which will fulfill our expectations .We have decided who will be the course participants and how many participants will attend the courses by preparing an official paper by our school taking into consideration our teachers' attending the courses effectively,being willing to attend and having some capacities. The content of the activity; 1-teachers will get the training realated to social media tools,web2.0 tools and using tablets in harmony with interactive whiteboards by using the techniques ofcolloborative learning,research,creativity evaluating 2-They will get the awareness about the use of ICT tools in the phase of education-teaching. 3-They will explore new ways how the social media and web2.0 tools can help students about communication,research and expressing themselves.4-They will be able to define what obstacles there may appear while they are using these kinds of 21st cetury ICT tools in the classes.5-They will be able to prepare sample lessons by using these tools and students will be able to do homework to complete these lesson contents by using different ICT tools.6-They will be able to discuss about the relations between the innovation,creativity,traditional education and the standarts.7-They will be able to prepare lesson materials by using different programmes on interactive whiteboards. The methodology will be "hands on" methodology.Teachers will be able to prepare their own multimedia lesson contents and materials by using method,technique and tools they have learnt at this training.They will get the chance to evaluate these prepared materials with the other participants by discussing face to face.The long term benefits of these courses will be that more teachers will benefit from the outcomes of the courses.Furthermore; the communication and the possibility of working with the course providers will continue after the course period.The participants will reach the course materials easily and they will continue the communication and colloboration with the course trainers and the other participants via social media.The outcomes of the course will be shared with the school administrations.The training will be evaluated with a standart questionnaire.Finally; our teachers who will attend the course will have learnt the 21st century skills and will have raised the quality of the education and teaching at our own school.
