In the course of the development of new network formed cooperation forms of educational institutions within the countries and Europe-wide the need for quality assurance measurements grows.Typical cutting-points are e.g. measurements for quality assurance in the multiple sectors transition school to work which leads to a Europeanwide increasing educational-political impact. The main question is whether measurable quantifiable dates of vocational training centres, enterprises and chambers can be embedded into planning- and decision-processes. How can this tool be implemented into already existing educational programmes and transferred into effective results and structures? But good quality doesn’t come from somewhere. It has to be compiled, proved, evaluated and reviewed. And here starts EduPlan. It is based on ECVET-criteria and intends to raise quality standards within vocational education and training. The main goals is to upgrade the practice of vocational training by measuring it. By visualising quality and progress EduPlan is a down-to-earth-instrument for all types of providers, enterprises, chambers in the field of formal and non-formal learning and training.
