The project "Education on youth participation" is the answer to the problem of low awareness of young people about the advantages flowing from involvement in community's life at local and international level. This problem is widely present not only in the Podkarpackie province, it relates to many young Europeans who face unemployment in consequence. At the same time, passive attitude is noted among young people who are just standing on the threshold of entering the labor market. By sticking to the framework of formal education only, they unconsciously limit their personal and professional development in the future. The aim of the project is to take actions aimed at encouraging young people to become more active in community's life, to work towards personal, language and intercultural skills development.. The project foresees to invite two volunteers to participate in a 12-month project, which will run from June 2016 to May 2017. Its aims will be achieved through regular events, meetings, workshops for youth with non-formal methods of education, in which volunteers will be involved in as co-organizers. Their presence will bring an added value to the project, their attitude and commitment will serve as an example of why you should be active as a young person.
