The youth exchange « education in the medias » will takes place in Gouville sur mer in Normandy from the 19th to the 28th of October 2014 with 4 groups from 4 countries (France, Germany, Roumania, Turkey). 6 participants from each country with one leader and 2 leaders for France. Nowadays, young people from childhood live in the world of pictures and in a society in which medias are dominating. Discover medias realities and how they work Understand mechanisms, codes and typical languages Analyse medias practices and methods Acquire Critical mind In the 4 countries médias are differents. We will use these differences to share realities and experiences, to fight against stereotypes, deep the discussions and create together. This project is to share the differents history linked with medias in the countries. Aim is identify skills, social competences and social relationship. Project should provide to the participants tools for analyze and understand medias to build an individual and autonomistic citizen culture Before the youth exchange, each group will collect informations about médias. These 4 differents datas will be used as exemples, tools by the participant during the 10 days in October. With the programme and the methods participant will meet, communicate, reflect, make, create, discover, analyze together and they will spread the experience and the results. Different active and participative methods of non forml education will be used by the team. Evaluations will be tools to facilitate understanding and results of non formal learning. At the end of youth exchange each group will leave with all the material they will have created and experienced to use it in their local context.
