EDU PERFORMING II - THE NEW GATE ON INCLUSION is an integrated project that will bring together two major activities: a training course aimed at the creation of 6 new methods of non-formal education, conducted from 13 to 22 October 2013 and an youth exchange that will be held from 9 to 17 March 2014. Having effective implementation period between August 1, 2014 and June 1, 2015 the project aims at involving 7 partners from: Romania, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Estonia. The target group will be composed of 28 youth workers who will take part in the course + 28 youth and 7 group leaders of youth exchange group stage. Both activities, training and exchange will run in Ramnicu Sarat, Romania. Project objectives setted are: 1. Developing practical skills for working with new methods of non - formal education of the 63 participants from 7 states, through their involvement in organizing, planning, improvement and application of the methods developed in Ramnicu Sarat, over a period of 10 months. 2. Raising awareness of the 63 participants from seven countries on the importance of taking initiative by involving them in the use of non -formal education methods in order to provide solutions to tackle the problems faced by social classes disadvantaged in Ramnicu Sarat, over a period of 10 months. 3. Increasing the number of youth workers to use methods and tools of non - formal educationin order to stop the racism, discrimination, improve the educational system, in Ramnicu Sarat, over a period of 10 months. 4. Increasing the applicability of methods and tools of non - formal education used by the 63 participants through their implementation in institutions and working with disadvantaged backgrounds, in Ramnicu Sarat, over a period of 10 months. 5. Developing intercultural communication of the 63 participants from 7 states, through activities based on the principles: diversity, mutual respect, tolerance, solidarity, active citizenship and European multicultural values in Ramnicu Sarat, in a period of 10 months. The project objectives will be achieved after the implementation of the training course and exchange activities that will be used the following methods: training sessions, workshops, presentations, debriefing and mesa round, teambuilding, brainstorming, midterm and final evaluation, Youthpass Reflection, intercultural evenings, know each other games or used for socialization, communication and inclusion, with the newly created methods: Picture Method, The Happy End Method, Dreamer Method, Reality Check Method, The Circle of Trust Method, The cost of living. The activities that will be implemented will be held on the methods and tools of non-formal education which will focus on the training of youth workers in order to use new methodologies in dealing with disadvantaged children and young people on the other side of creating functional work teams to support the involvement of voluntary organizations and youth structures in the social inclusion process. In this way, the training course will be organized will start, each day, with the presentation of the initial six existing methods, will continue through 4 teams of different composition where workers will participate in workshops that will have the task of creating scenarios which will be implemented and tested during the youth exchange. The following activities will be established by presenting scenarios consecutively by each team to finally be assessed the applicability of the methods, with trainers. Final activity of the course will be the creation of methods EDU PERFORMING II brochure, which will be disseminated and applied in all seven communities structure. Youth exchange activities will be coordinated by the group leaders of the seven promoters after a preparatory period when will be distributed responsibilities for each young partner. If during the course of training, youth workers will present methods within: Secondary School no. 2 , L.T. Stefan cel Mare, C.N. Al. Vlahuta, Horizon Kindergarten, the exchange will bring together the youngsters in order to try the applicability of the methods in two different but very important social places: Elderly Center in Ramnicu Sarat and 5 family Centers. The last day, whose name will be Inclusion Day, the target group together with children from Family Centers will go to Poiana Pinului in order to develop inclusion activities based on created methods and other tools already known making in this way a strong and succesfull inclusion process for our project.
