The EDIT (Enhancing Digital International Teaching) project was born from the teachers' training needs of the high-school Savoia Benincasa.
The goal of this project is the "staff training" trough an experience of participation in structured courses
The 11 teachers involved in the mobility(7 days) will attend attend a training course in Belgium- Bruxelles where the Schoolnet center is located. The course provider is specialized in training courses addressed to teachers willing to improve their technological and methodological skills.
According to the calendar course, availability of the course provider and period of mobility (in order to assure regular lessons at school) they could attend the following courses:
- Collaborative learning, social media and augmented reality
- Entrepreneurship skills and creativity
- Interactive technologies for the future classroom,
- Programming for the 21st century classroom
- Developing an eSafe classroom
EDIT will lead to the following results on the direct beneficiaries:
- Acquisition of new rules for the application of interactive technology in the classroom
-the improvement of language skills, the French and Spanish
-Acquisition professional skills certified by Europass Mobility Tool and rispendibili recognized both in Italy and in other EU countries
The participants' skills upgrade will have a positive effect on teachers and thier expertise , but it will improve their motivation , leading teachers to experiment new aspects and methodologies in class.
These new teachers' skill will have positive effects on the Savoia Benincasa, both students and other teachers
The realization of EDIT also wants to be the starting point to establish contact with schools of Belgium linked to the course provider, in order to plan after theEDIT project an experience of job shadowing. this experience will be foundamental to compare application and teachers expertise.
