Eco-theater. Growing culture, growing Europe is a Youth Exchange project based inPiedmont (North-West of Italy). It focuses on the knowledge of Environmental Issues by using Theatre to foster the relationships between young people coming from 5 different EU countries. The exange is a 10 days meeting dedicated to environment and theater. We are working together with our partners and the young people involved in the association to create a youth exange that will focus on the european perception of ecology and environment education. With a group of young people aged 18-25 we will be working on the different perceptions of eco-culture, discovering cultural differencies and sharing our ideas about nature and theater. The location of the Youth Exchange will be a great country house in the mountains near Turin, in Piedmont-Italy. We will spend our days working on theatre workshop focused on environmental subjects, discovering open air theater methods and creating a final performance that will be presented to the local community at the end of our work together. Together with the theater activities we are planning with our partners an interactive part related to Environment, the main topic of our exchange, also including intercultural dimension, leisure activities and guided discovering of the city Torino and its surroundings.
