The objectives of this exchange are:1 / to discover new learning methods (sport, languages), to have a critical reflection in them, and ultimately enable young people to be more independent and active in their learning2 / to be a first cross-cultural experience and travel for young girls who probably will work in an intercultural environment, in France or abroad3 / to discover two countries and two organizations of sport, two cultures, confront stereotypes and beyondFor this, we organized an exchange between 18 and 18 young Romanian French youth, all passionate of handball and prepare for a professional career. To achieve these goals, "la Ligue du Centre" and "CSM Bucarest" developed a program combining sports training, time for discussion and reflection on learning methods, cultural and sporting tours, informal and relaxation time, evaluation and reflection time on the achievements of this experience. These young people have the experience of collective life since they live in boarding school during the week but have rarely had the opportunity to compare this experience with another culture. Indeed, many of the French and Romanian young newly disadvantaged social environments and young people have only rarely had the opportunity to discover new alien cultures (1/3 of young people did not have the opportunity to discover the different cultures of their outside handball's exchanges). Handball and this kind of action are a way for them to discover another environment and learn new customs. The group will be supervised by five French companions (2 supervisors + Vascilan Florin and 2 High School teachers who will be paid from the budget of the"Ligue du Centre") and 2 supervisors Romanians. We hope that this exchange has an impact on daily youth involvement in their sport. The discovery of new learning methods handball, discovering new sports and handballistiques cultures, exchanges with the Romanian and foreign professional players and the implementation of Youthpass will lead young people to have a reflective practice on their practice to to improve every day and be actors of their project. The multiplication of exchanges in english will promote learning this language, but especially young people's willingness to fully invest in learning. Finally, openness to new cultures, knowledge of the "other" allow young people to better understand and thus to blow some prejudices. This exchange will also impact on the overall operation of the two structures. Indeed, having a global reflection on different learning methods, discovering new cultures of High Level, in projecting more about the opportunities to move abroad ... the girls will be involved so more autonomous and determined in their sports and language learning, thus improving the results of the structures. Moreover, after this exchange, the leaders will exchange with young people to improve the points that can be, based on new discoveries and methods of learning about the organization of each structure. This action will also impact on the students of the High Schools partner of the two structures and the French and Romanians practicing handball. Indeed, with the the posters by young people (presentation of the countries, of the cities, the organization of sport ...) and a conference at the end of the exchange, with all the high school students and teachers, young people will share their experiences, learning methods they have found interesting and discuss the different stereotypes and how to overcome them. The presentation of their exchanges by young people, and communication on different internet sites promote the envy of students and practicing handball discover new cultures through trips in different countries and so enrich themselves in contact with "the other. " The aim is also to help ensure that as many see the "other" as a person capable of enriching rather than a threat.
