e-RESPYME Sistema de Gestión Ética y Socialmente Responsable para la Pequeña y Mediana Empresa
According to the green European book of social responsibility (SR), we understand this concept as the voluntary integration, by the companies, of the social and environmental worries into their commercial operations and their relations with their spokesmen. The increase of its use in the small and medium sized enterprises, included micro-enterprises, is basic, as they are the ones who contribute the most to economy and to the creation of employment. Although many SME have already assumed their social responsibility, mainly by participating at local level, a greater sensitising and more important support to the spread of good practices could contribute to boost social responsibility in this kind of companies. It is necessary to provide the companies, mainly the SME, with guidance and tools allowing them to inform efficaciously about their policies, procedures and results in the field of social responsibility. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Álava proposes e-RESPYME project, a Programmed Learning System offering the necessary knowledge and tools to implement an Ethically and Socially Responsible Management system, adapted to the SME. A system based on the Standard SGE 21:2005 (Standard for the Evaluation of the Ethically and Socially Responsible Management in the Organisations). E-learning system of programmed teaching will be transferred. This system is used in Agora Leonardo da Vinci project (ES/05/B/F/PP – 149.320) in which a course of programmed learning for the Excellent Management of Urban Commerce is developed. This system has already been used before the project at regional and national level and its evaluations have been very positive. The objective of e-RESPYME project is to support the participants in training activities, in the acquisition and use of knowledge with electronic support, in order to adapt the SMEs to the needs and requirements of the corporative Social Responsibility, creating personal reference models.
