E-Qalin - European quality-improving, innovative learning in residential care homes for the elderly
E-Qalin® is a “Leonardo da Vinci” project, that started in October 2004 and lasted until September 2007. E-Qalin® - “European quality-improving, innovative learning in residential care homes for the elderly” is organised and managed by the Austrian Chapter of the Camillians (Kamillianer), the leading role lays in their institute “IBG”, which has experienced for several years in education and training in social and health services. The 29 partners have competences as specialists in quality management, managing the social services and homes for elderly und net workers. They come from the fields of Residential care homes for the elderly, Associations of Professionals, Education and University, Politics and Government, in Austria, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.The main challenges in the development of E-Qalin® are the orientation towards the residents, the staff, the stakeholder and especially the needs of politics and economics. The focus on resources of the organisation and the results of the performance of the organisation are also special tasks.Quality Management is not a purpose for itself, but is a professional instrument to focus on all processes and structures of the clients and their needs, according to the resources of the organisation.partners partizipating from the following states: AT,CZ,DE,IT,LU,NL,SL;
