E-Learning: Virtual Classroom Training

E-Learning: Virtual Classroom Training. The Vocational Training Centre Peloponnese KEKAP, based in Nafplio requesting participation in learning mobility program for VET Staff funded from the Erasmus + and wants to improve overall teaching methods offering new distance e-learning education programmmes. The training program lasting five training days E-Learning: Virtual Classroom Training is provided in English by the German educational organization WBS Training AG, at the Dresden branch, Germany. The training programme is for 15 people from the staff of KEKAP (all graduates of higher education) teachers, trainers, administrative staff, technicians which will be fully trained in the planning process of e-learning. The traing modules and methodology include: Module 1: Introduction to E-Learning environment • Forms of e-learning • The possibilities and advantages of e-learning • An overview of the tools / e-learning products (open source, commercial) Module 2: Methodological and didactic principles for modern E-Learning • characteristics of virtual communication • Monitor the virtual classroom • Enable people in the virtual classroom • Designing an e-learning teaching • Prepare and design of learning content according to the requirements of e-learning Module 3: Preparation and delivery of a E-Learning session • Collaboration with Adobe Connect as a platform for e-learning • Design and preparation of a session • Delivery of e-learning in a live audience The proposed methodology refers to suggestions, interactive exercises, discussion, role play and teamwork. Results will be evaluated on site by the education provider WBS Training who also undertakes to issue the certificates on successful monitoring and europass supplement, in accordance with the principles of ECVET. The expected results include (per position of responsibility): -Administrative Staff / administration: to acquire the knowledge and skills to design - promote - preparation of e-learning programs. To deepen in the possibilities of e-learning strategy. At the same time, all the staff and management will have the opportunity to become familiar with the principles of European ECVET system -Educational: To acquire the knowledge and skills to migrate from physical teaching to distance presentation. Prepare and adapt their teaching material and their equipment in new tools. -Technicians (Computer –Network): to acquire the technical knowledge and learn about the latest developments in the use of electronic means necessary both in terms of hardware (hardware) and software (software) O Expected impact of the project participants includes: Improving knowledge and skills in order to be able to plan, organize & promote effectively e-learning programs. Increase the skills of trainers and even internationally and in accordance with the standards of ECVET. Strengthening relations between trainers with the administration. To KEKAP will acquire upgraded personnel, appropriately trained and certified to offer e-learning programs. KEKAP will, also, upgrade its image. It will promote its long-term strategy of operating as Host Institution in the future for Erasmus type + programs.
