The project will develop a continuous training programme for VET teachers and trainers in food industry comprising e-reference tools based on modular principle with flexible content and transnational nature. The needs for understanding, development and implementation of the integrated European approach towards food industry growth create strong demands on better and adequate qualification of specialists, providing continuous training in the field. Creation of electronic reference training tools for education of teachers and trainers in the food industry will provide better practices and measures in this area. The project activities and final products will be: (1) Analysis of vocational training needs in the sector (2) National evaluation of availability of appropriate training measures (3) Designing and assessment of reference ICT-related training tools for VET trainers (4) Dissemination via Internet site: Dissemination and implementation of results nationally by each partner.
