The e-Chance for Women project will develop innovative gender-oriented methodology for the trainers and counsellors of unemployed women wishing to guide and support this target group in learning basic ICT skills whilst capitalising on their previous life experience. This activity will be accompanied by a training course for individual trainers and counsellors as well as a pre-training course for women job seekers, all to be supported by a range of supporting documentation.Outcomes will comprise: actual methodology with case studies and games; a six module interactive course for trainers and counsellors (covering aspects of psychology & communication, approaches to counselling & negotiation, training design and evaluation); a printed booklet for women starting with ICT and four pre-training modules aimed specifically at women. All except the booklet will be produced as both CD-Rom and web-based versions in all partner languages plus EN.Local, on-going dissemination will employ promotional booklets, press releases and workshops with wider dissemination of outcomes via the project website and discussion forum, through Interim and Final Reports and in the form of a final press conference launching both the CD-Rom and the web-based tools.
