The aim of the project is to develop a dynamic online tool for use by career orientation teachers at schools and guidance counsellors. The tool will include up-to-date information on ICT professions and the associated formal and informal requirements, as revised and assessed by private sector representatives from the ICT industry. The updating of the tool contents on a day-to-day basis with the help of representatives from the ICT sector is the project's USP. After all, the ICT sector is the most dynamic sector with a fast-changing environment and fast-changing requirements and work conditions. The tool will also include updated information on the educational systems of the partner countries. The existing ICT professions in the different partner countries will be compared with each other based on the criteria knowledge, skills and broader competences. Similarities will be stressed. The completed tool can be technically adapted to other sectors after the end of the project.
