The project is based on a previous project dealing with ICT-related training of English language for teachers of professional subjects in technical VET. The present project will disseminate the products and develop further the contents and variety of products for wider use. This project aims at providing the VET teachers tools to learn elementary professional foreign language skills in English and German languages, in their native languages and to implement the valorisation process linked to mobility projects and the community players with impact on the labour market. Multimedia language modules for teachers in catering, plumbing and heating, car mechanics and electrical engineering. Selection of areas is based on needs analyses of skills and labour market demands. Products and results: (1) CD- rom learning toolkit on foreign language learning and assessment. (2) Teaching support material. (3) Best practice collection in development of interactive professional language skills programme for a specific target group. (4) Valorisation processes in mobility events, using both visiting and host participants as well as social partners. (5) 4 Internet and CD-based multimedia interactive modules in 2 foreign languages in 4 user’s languages, with a series of didactic materials. Pilot training in CZ, ES, PT and AT.
