Drogs=Illusion
Start date: Jan 1, 2016, End date: Feb 28, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

10 pupils from Lorantffy Zsuzsanna Secondary Scholl from Oradea, 10 members of Calvinistic Community from Komarno, 12 volunteers from Natura Hungarica Foundation from Hungary participate together with 10 young and 3 adult member of Creative Mozaic Foundation in the Youth Exchange for drog prevention.The aim of our program is, that youngsters not only enjoy amusing programs in Kiskunfélegyháza, but also participate at a self-assessment and a professional training. We prepare these13-18 years old boys and girls to be able and trained to avoid dependencies, addictions (incl. cyber bullying, drogs). We also help them to improve their basic competences to be easily integrated in the community.Since the members of partner organisation live as minority in their motherland, it is essential, to develop their cultural awareness and intercultural competencies at the same time, and to develop their mother tounge communication. We take into account the focus and demand of Z- generation. We often use ITK tools and Drama in Education methods.We intend not to "spread" information, about the risks and consequences of drug and other attitude dependencies, but we interiorise these. According to this we play role games, and implement other tools also from Toolbox, to improve their empathy and achieve impressions. Creative Mozaic Foundation works with dozens of teenagers continuously, who participate on their youth programs, help on events. They are the bridge between adults, and pupils, and since younger children would like to be elder and similar to these teenagers, they follow their good patterns. Project phases:Preparation will be done on phone and mail, as soon as we got the decision. Youth Exchange:The stay in Kiskunfélegyháza will be amusing, filled with programs like visiting bath, and sightseeing, but they also participate in intensive self-assessment training with professional trainers. Methods used: global recognition, drama in education, ICT tools, role games, communication games, active creation.Documentation:We will make hundreds of photo and probably a mini (werk)film too. Participants will be asked to, prepare a diary, to document what they heard, saw and learned. It is very important for us and for dissemination, to systematise the experience, specific cases and the efficiency of used methods.Dissemination: After the arrival back home, we hope and will encourage communication and knowledge transfer among the team members on our internal Facebook group. We publish these pictures, studies on our Facebook/Kreatív Mozaik Alapítvány profile. We also inform local and eventually national media about our exchange program. As a result of the project children will be prepared to avoid cyber bullying and drugs, and to easily handle attitude dependencies. They turn home with improved communication skills, culture to debate and the ability to stand for their rights. Games help to develop their social and intercultural competencies, resulting in higher level of empathy and tolerance, they will accept differences' of any kind, and will be able to cooperate in their community.Most of the teachers and youth workers think that to handle drug and digital risks and is the responsibility of the authorities. We would like to modify this approach, because modern studies prove that, the prevention is the basic and most effective tool. Parents, teachers, adults play most important role, by helping and supporting the child emotionally.
