As Türkkonut primary school English teachers, and administrators, our goal is to adapt quickly to changing educational system, learn new methods and techniques, achieve the level of the younger age groups in the English education ,communicate effectively with all the people around us and to obtain information about drama and English teaching methods. English teachers and administrators who serving in our school will participate in the Project.( 5 Person). Participants are willing teachers to work in the project. Our teachers are volunteers who want to increase their competence in terms of self-development and professional. They are our friends working with high tenacity . Their aim is to capture innovation in language training in order to use language effectively and reach to level of younger pupils. We need a project like this purpose.The project of Glottodrama method has been going on since 2007 and one of its partner is the University of Ankara TÖMER language teaching center. Some of the fundamantals of the project are to be able to get better use of potentials of drama in English language teaching, using the drama techniques and resources effectively. Also using the basic teaching tools with the pedagogical thinking. The project of Glottodrama aroused with understanding of drama's pedagogical worth This was proven with the experiments in using drama techniques in language teaching. The Glottodrama method can be used in many curriculums. Not only with the current programs but also autonomously , and while doing this it considers the average professional capability of the teacher. As English teachers in Türkkonut Primary school we are planning to apply this method, which has been proven with many experiments and that we haven't used it previously, in our teaching method and to give the opportunity to our students to be aware of this method. As we learned from people who attended to this course before and from the coordinators of the project in TÖMER language teaching center, by attending to this course we are aiming at letting the students learn English with drama, fun and being aware of a new method and try to develop their speaking skills. For students to enjoy their English lessons and actively participate in our classes. For the classroom teachers and administrators not only to improve their the general level of limited English but also improve their communication skill. For the school teachers to increase the interest of foreign language and to promote the use of foreign languages will be certain other consequences of the project. The Drama and English course will extend participants knowledge and experience in the development of dramatic literature and the practice of drama production and associated skills. These areas will be linked to the use of drama as a tool in secondary and primary education and the course itself will be practical and hands-on, featuring a variety of best-practice examples and ideas for classroom activities. We are intend to share gained Information from this course with in our school teachers and spread all over district school teachers.
