The aim of the four week apprenticeship of thirty students of Zespół Szkół Samochodowych in Legnica is practical training of Technikum Mechatroniczne students. The training involves diagnosing cars and devices, their servicing using appropriate equipment, repairing faulty components as well as detecting and mending faults of different mechatronic systems. The attendants will get to know computer systems which enable access to information essential in the process of correct monitoring and servicing. Moreover, they will familiarize themselves with basic diagnostic equipment and other tools that are used in car servicing. The students will acquire new skills: diagnosing faults and repairing them, setting up computer systems in vehicles. The attendants will get familiar with the practical side of servicing electronic and mechatronic systems in cars. While repairing cars, the students will get to know technical and electronic novelties used in cars. What is more, they will master their cooperation skills as far as servicing cas is conderned. The attendants will develop general knowledge as regards technical novelties of the technological- production process-starting with the car body production, through paintshop works and finishing with the final assembly and testing of the newly produced vehicles in the BMW Group Leipzig service station. In the Porsche Centre for Education and Technology the students will take part in classess devoted to the build and diagnostics of Porsche cars and assembling and disassembling of th Boxter engines. Such apprenticeship in one of the best service stations will enable the students to acquire new technical skills,which will make them better prepared to work that require high qualifications. They newly acquired skills will be certified. The monitoring of the apprenticeship will be conducted by Partners of the project. The evaluation and publication of the results will be done by the headmaster of Zespół Szkół Samochodowych in Legnica and the Partner hosting Stowarzyszenie Europa Haus (Europa Haus Society) in Lipsk.
